Brighton Pride - Street Party 2022
25,000 revellers; Saturday 6th August 2022, St James Street Village Party, Brighton Pride
A recording from the BIGGEST crowd I've ever played to.... 25,000 glorious rainbow revellers, and it kicked OFF! Can't thank Brighton Pride enough for booking me each year for a decade now! Here's to the next decade of incredible parties.
Included within;
✅ my favourite hour of music I've EVER put together
✅ drops, vox, basslines and soul
✅ a bittersweet symphony!!
✅ a Fat Boy Slim mini-megamix, give the legend his dues.
✅ a fair few face-melters
✅ back to the future... 🛹
✅ one slightly nervous blend between the first 2 tracks (come on... 25k people 😬😰....)
✅ the perfect 'OUT out' countdown mix - play this 1 hour before leaving the house!

A highlight video from Alex’s favourite and sunniest yearly residency – the Brighton Pride Village Street Party. He’s been welcoming people to the UK’s best-known and most euphoric sunny street dance every year since 2009.
Having fallen in love with the Old Dirty Brasstards at Glastonbury in 2014, Alex decided to pass that JOY onto the 10,000 revellers in the Brighton Pride Dance Big Top later that year – Crazy In Love / Beyonce VS Old Dirty Brasstards
Who said warm-up gigs can’t be fun?! This video is from the Sunday afternoon of the world famous Brighton Pride Village Street Party, sped up to follow the full first hour of Alex’s warm-up set, bringing the celebrations to life!
Live instruments have always been a key feature in Alex’s sets, whether playing his own live percussion, or accompanied by saxophonists, and that extends to his choice of house too, often featuring live brass, orchestras and choirs.
Ticking off a rock’n’roll bucket list item – climbing the rigging!
Must have been loud at the front! Bad video-audio.... GOOD CROWD!
